BuildAdda is an intermediary technology platform operated by Himmat Singh Rajawat that connects independent distributors/sellers with customers for the purchase of building materials and construction supplies. BuildAdda does NOT itself ship, transport, deliver, or handle any products.

All shipping, logistics, and delivery are the sole responsibility of the respective distributor/seller. BuildAdda does not control, manage, or guarantee any aspect of the delivery process. Users engage in transactions and rely on delivery services entirely at their own risk.

2. Delivery Responsibility

Each distributor/seller on BuildAdda is independently responsible for:

• Arranging shipping and delivery of products to the customer
• Setting delivery areas, timelines, and shipping charges
• Packaging products securely for transport
• Selecting logistics partners or arranging their own delivery
• Providing tracking information, where available
• Handling all delivery-related complaints and issues
• Ensuring compliance with applicable transport and safety regulations

3. Delivery Areas

3.1 Service Coverage

Delivery areas are determined by each distributor/seller independently. During checkout, customers can check if the distributor delivers to their location. Common service areas may include:

• Jaipur and surrounding areas
• Major cities in Rajasthan
• Other areas as specified by individual distributors

BuildAdda does not guarantee delivery to any specific location. Pin code availability depends entirely on the distributor/seller.

3.2 Remote Area Delivery

For remote or hard-to-reach areas, distributors may charge additional shipping fees or may not offer delivery. Delivery timelines may also be extended. Contact the distributor directly for details.

4. Delivery Timelines

4.1 Estimated Timelines

Delivery timelines are set by each distributor/seller and may vary. Typical estimates provided by distributors are:

• Local delivery: 1-3 business days
• State-wide delivery: 3-7 business days
• Remote areas: 5-10 business days
• Bulk orders: Timeline communicated by distributor during order confirmation

BuildAdda does not control or guarantee any delivery timelines. These are estimates provided by distributors and may vary based on product availability, location, weather, and other factors.

4.2 Factors Affecting Delivery

Delivery may be delayed due to factors beyond the distributor's control, including:

• Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
• Political unrest, strikes, or curfews
• Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer
• Unavailability of recipient at the delivery location
• Public holidays
• Stock availability or supply chain disruptions

BuildAdda is not responsible for any delivery delays or failures.

5. Shipping Charges

5.1 Charges Set by Distributors

Shipping and delivery charges are determined solely by the respective distributor/seller. Charges may vary based on:

• Order value and product weight/volume
• Delivery distance from the distributor's location
• Type of product and handling requirements
• Delivery speed requested by the customer

All applicable shipping charges will be displayed during checkout before order confirmation. BuildAdda does not set, control, or profit from delivery charges.

5.2 Special Handling

Additional charges may be applied by the distributor for:

• Heavy or oversized construction materials
• Delivery requiring special vehicles or equipment
• Delivery beyond ground floor or to restricted access areas
• Weekend or holiday delivery requests

6. Order Processing

6.1 Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation through the Platform. Order processing and dispatch are handled by the distributor/seller. For online payments processed through PhonePe payment gateway, order processing begins after payment confirmation.

6.2 Order Tracking

Where available, distributors may provide order tracking information through the Platform. You can check your order status in the "My Orders" section of your account. Tracking availability depends on the distributor and their logistics partner.

7. Delivery Process

7.1 Delivery Attempt

Delivery logistics are managed by the distributor/seller or their chosen logistics partner. Customers should:

• Ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order
• Provide a reliable contact number for delivery coordination
• Keep valid ID proof available for verification, if required by the distributor

7.2 Failed Delivery

If delivery fails due to customer unavailability or incorrect address, re-delivery attempts and associated charges are determined by the distributor/seller. BuildAdda is not responsible for failed delivery attempts or any resulting costs.

7.3 Delivery Inspection

Customers are strongly advised to:

• Inspect products immediately upon delivery
• Check quantity and condition of all items
• Document any visible damage with photographs before accepting delivery
• Note any damages or discrepancies on the delivery receipt
• Report any issues to the distributor/seller within 24 hours of delivery

8. Product-Specific Shipping Notes

Distributors may have specific shipping requirements for different product categories:

8.1 Heavy Materials (Cement, Steel, Aggregates)

• May require special vehicles for transport
• Minimum order quantities may apply
• Customer may need to arrange unloading equipment or labour
• Adequate unloading space must be available at the delivery site

8.2 Fragile Materials (Tiles, Ceramics, Glass)

• Check for cracks or damage immediately upon delivery
• Do not accept visibly damaged packages without noting on receipt
• Report breakage to the distributor within 24 hours

8.3 Paints, Chemicals & Hazardous Materials

• Subject to transport regulations
• Check expiry dates upon delivery
• Ensure proper storage conditions upon receipt

9. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Cash on Delivery availability is determined by each distributor/seller. Where offered:

• COD availability may vary by location and order value
• Additional COD handling charges may apply as set by the distributor
• Payment must be made to the delivery person at the time of delivery
• Inspect products before making payment

10. Damaged or Missing Items During Delivery

If you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect products:

• Document the damage with photographs immediately
• Contact the distributor/seller directly within 24 hours of delivery
• Do not use or install the damaged product
• Keep all original packaging materials

Resolution of delivery damage claims (replacement, refund, or credit) is entirely at the discretion of the distributor/seller. BuildAdda is not responsible for product damage during transit, delivery errors, missing items, or any losses arising therefrom.

11. Limitation of Liability

BuildAdda and its owner, Himmat Singh Rajawat, shall NOT be liable for:

• Any delivery delays, failures, or non-delivery by distributors or their logistics partners
• Any product damage occurring during shipping or transit
• Any loss, injury, or damage arising from the delivery process
• Any incorrect or incomplete delivery by distributors
• Any shipping charges, fees, or costs imposed by distributors
• Any issues arising from delivery to incorrect addresses provided by customers

Users acknowledge that all shipping and delivery services are provided by the distributor/seller, and BuildAdda acts solely as a technology intermediary to facilitate the connection between parties.

12. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete delivery address and contact information
• Being available at the delivery location or arranging someone to receive the order
• Inspecting products thoroughly upon delivery
• Reporting any delivery issues to the distributor/seller within the specified timeframe
• Arranging necessary equipment or labour for unloading heavy construction materials
• Ensuring safe and appropriate storage of delivered materials

13. International Shipping

BuildAdda currently operates within India only. International shipping is not available. Delivery coverage depends on individual distributors and is primarily focused on Rajasthan and nearby regions.

14. Policy Modifications

BuildAdda reserves the right to modify this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform with an updated "Last Updated" date. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.

15. Governing Law

This Shipping & Delivery Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
